The first and the second postcards was not “originally published in 1958”.
The original flyer “Construisez vous-memes une petite situation sans avenir” was printed by the Letterist Internationale in May 1955 (see Guy Debord, “Œuvres”, «Quarto» Gallimard, 2006, p. 188) and the other flyer “Si vous vous croyez du genie” was printed (also in English) in December 1955 (see the same book, p. 217).
